Here is a guide on how to use Magic Cutouts & Magic Lift, which are AI-powered features that instantly turn people into movable stickers!

How Does Magic Cutouts & Magic Lift Work?

Cutting out subjects from photos can be a tedious and time-consuming process. Our team wanted to change that by harnessing the power of artificial intelligence. Now, our app’s intelligent algorithms can instantly identify subjects like people, animals, or objects, and extract them from the background with just one magical tap.

How Do We Use AI?

After selecting a photo, our AI detects and separates the subject from the background and transforms it into a movable sticker, removing any complex edges for a clean silhouette effect. 

To Use Magic Cutouts...

• Search for Magic Cutouts Template category
• Select the template you like 
• Add your photo of choice
• Watch the magic happen! 🪄

 

To use Magic Lift…

• Scroll down on the Home Page Feed and locate the Magic Lift feature
• Add a photo of your choice
• Wait for the magic to happen…
• …Then move around the subject to anywhere you like in your collage!

 

What’s the difference between Magic Cutouts and Magic Lift?

For Magic Cutouts, the background of the photo you choose will be removed, so that only the subject is left in the photo, which will then be inserted into a template of your choice.

 

For Magic Lift, the subject will be cut out of the photo, however the background is still kept in place. What’s more, we use AI to fill in the empty space created by cutting out the subjects, so that a seamless effect can be achieved! This means that you’ll be able to create all sorts of fun effects with this feature, and we can’t wait to see what ideas you come up with. AI Privacy

We made privacy the top priority in designing this feature. The AI tool works like an assistant, without “seeing” or storing any personal photos. It performs helpful edits, not surveillance.
