Hello PicCollage Community!
Have you ever taken a photo that is almost perfect, however that one pesky stranger in the background ruins the vibe? Worry not, as we have released a feature called Magic Erase, which will help you remove any distractions from your photos so that they are perfect to share! Don’t worry, this tool is so good that your friends and family will be none the wiser, as we use our AI magic to remove the person and fill it in so that it looks natural.
How do I use Magic Erase?
To find the Magic Erase tool, simply:
- Start a collage
- Add a photo to your collage
- Double-tap on your photo
-
Select “Edit”
-
Tap on “Erase”
Here is where the Magic Erase tool is located. You’ll see a slider where you can adjust the brush size of the tool. To erase an item or person, please:
- Select the desired brush size by dragging the slider
- Mark out the person or item with the brush so that it’s completely covered in red
- Tap on Erase Object
Then, let out app work its magic for a few seconds and — tada! The person or item will have been removed. Don’t forget to tap on the check mark
to save your changes. If the result is unsatisfactory, please tap on the Back button
. Any changes you made will be reversed after doing so.
If you accidentally brush over too much of the image, causing the brush to cover people or items you don't wish to remove, you can tap on the paint brush with a minus icon, which will allow you to remove any accidental brush strokes. You may also tap on the reverse icon to reverse your last action.
We hope this guide helps, and we hope you enjoy using our new Magic Erase feature!
